23.04.2010, piatok, in other words Friday the 23rd of April, we've organized a barbecue.
To be honest, even if this event was waited by most of the team members, few of us doubted about the success of it. In fact, we didn't really have anything prepared, we didn't even have any grill.
However we kept having faith, and stayed positive thinking that it was still possible to make something out it.
Thus we prayed a lot and bought a lot of food...
But Satan is powerful, and he made us struggle to set the fire.
So after an intensive fight against the harmful influences of the Devil, we could finally give birth to a tiny little flame of hope which became a fiery explosion of Love where God could dwell.

We could welcome 11 guests.
The atmosphere was really nice, so nice that people actually didn't want to leave and the evening finally ended around 11 pm.

We are so grateful to the spirit world, because even if it was really cloudy, it didn't rain until the very end.
We hope that all the guests could have spent a nice time and that it's going to be a big step forward in their life to meet GOD

Media team visit

Yesterday, the 22nd of April 2010, 10th year of Cheong Il Guk. At 2:30 in the morning, the media team arrived in Nitra's center. After a cold night, Valgas and Phil didn't lose any second to take every single move and every single sentence of the team. During the day, we visited the town, we first went to Mlyny the famous shopping mall, then we went on the top of the hill where resides Nitra's Castle in order to take some videos and pictures. Next, the media team filmed us while witnessing on the street. And we finally ended the day around a nice dinner given by GOD and a great brotherly atmosphere, with joy and happiness.

 

It was a really good thing, that Valgas and Phil could come to Nitra, it brought such a nice atmosphere in the hard and challenging witnessing everyday life. It was also a good opportunity for us to express ourselves, and it's always fun to wave to a camera. In addition, it is good to know that what we're doing would stay immortal through the videos and the pictures we've taken. 

Come to a conclusion, Sometimes, it's good to look at ourselves from outside to see what's wrong and what to change...

Clash Of The Titans

After the crazy adventure we had with GOD's small children (who actually are little demons). We could have a little bit of rest.
Then we went to the shopping center where we had a sharing. And we finally ended up the Sunday watching The Clash Of The Titan

Sunday

The 18th of April, the Sunday service was only for small 2nd generation.
So after singing some songs, we had a nice puppet show about the creation of the world and the fall of man.
Then we spent some times with the children, playing, running and jumping with the kids.

Japanese Evening

Yesterday the 13th of April, there was a Japanese cultural evening organized by Kayo and Karin
WE had the chance to welcome 7 guests.
We started with a powerpoint about Japan in general. Then we taught the basic of Japanese language, how to write in hiragana, so that they could write their name, and also some basic sentences Japanese use in their daily life. Then we sang a well known song "Shiawase te Nandarou ?". After that Kayo taught how to make the "tsuru" in origami. We finally ended up the evening by making norimaki and enjoying the food.

Campfire

In our garden, there is a special place where it's possible to light on a campfire.
It's always nice to share funny or scary stories around it.
Nights are really peaceful in Nitra (the rate of crime is really low) and the sky is clear so we can see the stars which make us realize how much our problems are small as the stars and how much We are small in front of God.

Fundraising Condition

Actually, I forgot to tell you that Felix's team was not that unknown for me when I joined the team. Indeed, the Spanish team and the Slovak team have already united their strength during the fundraising condition of March of the10th year of Cheong Il Guk. It was in Bern, Switzerland, and it was a wonderful experience.
